Fish It! Beginner Route: Fisherman Island to Kohana

Learn the cast and reel loop, sell catches, buy a stage-appropriate rod, reach Level 10 for codes, then plan a Kohana route without catch-rate promises.

Build a repeatable first session

Fish It! begins with a cast, a reel timing sequence, a catch, and a sell loop. Treat Perfect and Amazing feedback as timing cues: they help you read the minigame, but they do not prove a catch chance or drop rate.

A reliable first session looks like this:

  1. Cast near the starter hub and finish several ordinary reels before spending.
  2. Sell duplicate catches so your balance is visible before a purchase.
  3. Keep unusual mutations when index progress matters; sell duplicates when you need the next rod.
  4. Buy the first affordable upgrade rather than saving for a late quest item you cannot yet reach.

Reach the Level 10 checkpoint

Public redemption guides place the code field behind Level 10. The code redemption guide explains the Shop path, while the codes page keeps every public report labelled by evidence state.

Level 10 is a useful checkpoint because it gives you a reason to return to the Shop and test a code yourself. A press list or video title is not in-game evidence, so record the result from your own account before treating a reward as confirmed.

Plan the first travel step

After an early rod upgrade, use Islands and Zone Progression to compare route names and unlock uncertainty. Kohana and Volcano are public mid-game planning targets; the active server may change the travel order or requirements.

Use Rod Compare to compare stage labels, then verify the quest text and travel prompt in game. The tool is deliberately relative and does not calculate catch odds.

Continue planning

Read Rod Progression when you are choosing between a reachable upgrade and a reported late-game rod. Save a comparison pair in the tool before your next session so the same decision is easy to revisit.
